According to the latest leak, Samsung’s upcoming phablet will also be available with 256 GB of storage. Well, at least in Korea.

As August 23 approaches, we are getting a better idea of what to expect from the upcoming Galaxy Note 8. We’ve already seen what we suspect could be live photos of the device, and its stock wallpapers leaked in full just a few hours ago. Now according to Roland Quandt, some Galaxy Note 8 devices will come with 256 GB of internal storage, at least in its home turf:

The model numbers “SM-N950N256”, “SM-N950NK_256G”, “SM-N950NK_256GBE”, and “SM-N950NK_256GBK” all seem to indicate that that there will be 256 GB models of the Galaxy Note 8 although Quandt states that these are headed to Korea and Korea only for now. If Samsung’s approach with the Galaxy S8 duo is any indication, it’s likely that the 256 GB version will make it to other Asian countries like China.
Keep in mind that even if your country doesn't get the 256 GB version, the Galaxy Note 8 will come with a microSD slot.
